About Tatsuma Shoji｜庄司 達馬
Born on Amami Oshima Island and raised in Kyoto, he moved to the U.S. by himself after a homestay experience at the age of 10, graduated from a community college, and after six and a half years of training, due to his family background in architecture, became the president of Daibutsu Co.
Based in Kyoto, he has been involved in the construction of many temples and shrines,
and has experience in overseas construction projects in the U.S., Australia, Italy, and
other countries, making use of his English communication skills at construction sites.
He has also established "arcsense Co., Ltd." by uniting top-class craftsmen. He is
currently working to produce and spread his work to the world.
His hobbies include surfing, golf, and reading.
